A few things to consider when evaluating On-Board Gasketing Products:

• A thinner profile is preferable. Adequate thickness is necessary to offset material variations that need to be supported.
• 1/32″ thick CR 03 material is the most common for plastics applications
• 1/16" thick CR 06 material most common among woodworkers
• 1/8" thick CR 12 material is intended for materials that have a lot of variances
• 3/8" width CR 06 38 is the most commonly ordered in narrow widths (1/4″and 1/8″) for tighter areas
